Hi, My name is Ashley Lowcher and I am finishing a Master's of Science in Child Development and Family Relations. I am also a preK teacher for Pitt County schools and I work with children who are identified or at risk for developmental delays. As if school and a career were not enough, I am also planning a wedding!!! Over the summer, I we got engaged in......Paros, GREECE!!! It was so much fun and very beautiful! I am excited about this class because when I first thought of assistive technology, I wasn't sure what I could really use in my classroom. Now, I know better and have seen that there are numerous ways that this could be used in our daily routine!

Ashley this course is going to stretch you pass the typical so called teacher role and move you to the AT specialist role. SO if you ask why does a teacher need this- they don't at the level that we are going to take it- but you would if you become an AT specialist!
